You control when it listens.
AndOfCourse is developed by Burrito’s Labs. This page explains how this beta handles data.
During a conversation
Audio capture begins only after you start a session. The selected audio is sent through our service to Deepgram for transcription. Conversation text, your domain configuration and enabled reference passages are processed by our AI providers to prepare answers. The current service uses DeepSeek and OpenAI. Provider processing and retention are governed by their own terms; this is not a promise of zero retention by those providers.
Our service does not store audio, transcripts, prompts or answers by default. They are processed in memory during the session. Prepared content stays in the Mac app’s session memory for review after capture stops, and is cleared when you start a new conversation, sign out or quit.
On your Mac
Your domain configuration and app preferences are saved locally. Imported reference documents and extracted passages stay in your local library; enabled passages are shared with the service during use. Personalization is opt-in and stores preferences on your Mac. Settings lets you review or remove imported documents and learned preferences. These are not synchronized to another Mac in this beta.
The device sign-in credential is stored in macOS Keychain. Provider API keys stay on the service.
Account, usage and delivery
The service stores your invited email address, hashed device credentials, device names and expiry information, sign-in abuse controls, and usage and funding records. Usage records contain request metadata and integer cost amounts, not conversation content. Signing in sends a code to your address through the configured email provider. Our hosting and email providers process operational information needed to deliver the service. The website does not embed advertising or analytics scripts.
Questions or removal requests
Use Settings to sign out or revoke a device. Your local reference library remains until you remove it. For account access or removal requests, contact [email protected]. Please do not send sensitive conversation content or access credentials.
